'Black and White' Page and a Birdhouse

Hello lovely people

I have quick post for you today. A page I recently made for do-crafts forum, and was originally black and white as per challenge, but I had a big urge to put some colour on it:

So I took FC Gellato in turquoise colour and accented some areas.

The background was made from white cardstock, stamps, archival inks, gesso and printed tissue paper all by Tim Holtz. The letters are die cuts using Tim Holtz dies, grungeboard, gesso, rock candy distress crackle paint and gellato on the top.  The page is embellished with Prima bits, button is by Ranger, not sure of chicken wire chipboard as came without original packaging. Silk ribbon is by Pink Paislee which I had for ages.
.
A close-up (before I added green):

The second project I would like to share is a little bird house I decorated for a swap in my local scrapbooking group 'Crop Tarts':

Used distress paints and inks, dies and embossing folder. The birdie is by Prima.

Hope you like those projects and thank you very much for your visit.

  5. Hiya Svjetlana, I see you are keeping yourself v. busy with your crafting. I left a comment on your do craft gallery and thought I should pop by your blog to see what else you have been up to. I love this page! Great to see you are getting stuck in about your painting and distressing techniques too. They are very effective. Thanks for popping by my blog and leaving a kind comment too.
