Summer Fun Page

Hello everyone

I had busy but very enjoyable weekend; I attended Finnabair's workshop on Saturday and my girls had a Irish dancing feis on Sunday, but more about those in some other posts, today I would like to share with you a page I made to play along on The Memory Nest Blog.

I had a plan to play this challenge for while, but never had enough time or wasn't sure about a sketch, however this time part of the challenge was to do something that will  put one out of the comfort zone and for me that was the sketch:

So I put my thinking hat on, and came up with this:

Once again I used my mists  (dylusion), inks (distress and archival), stencils (Prima), paste (Golden), stamps (Prima and Hero Arts) and gesso (Ranger) to create the background.
Then I used very old Webster Pages papers and trim, cut out the cards on right side from the papers and I replaced the blocks on left side with big punched border and embellishments. I also made the flair buttons using Prima epoxy stickers and the papers, alpha stickers are also from the same paper collection. Big flower is by Petaloo and the small one I made myself using Sizzix dies and Prima bling for the centre.

Hope you like the page, enjoy your day and thank you for visit and any kind comments.

Magical Moment Page and Hand Made Flowers

Hello lovely people!

I would like to share a page with you today today that started off by  the flowers. I am hoping I will make a tutorial for these once, but for now I used white mulberry paper, glimmer mist in patina and  dies, punches and shaping tools, the latter could be anything with a round top and piece of foam.

Then I created the background using white cardstock, stencils, archival ink, stamps, mists, Golden modelling paste and so on...

So there is my page:

The photo is of my second DD and my husband. This page was inspired once again by the Scrap Around The World  April challenge and their beautiful mood board :

Mulberry paper flowers and butterfly are made by me using Tim Holtz dies and EK Success punches, the paper was sourced from Taiwan. The burlap flowers is also made by me using Papermania burlap, Tim Holtz die and Prima buttons. Additionally I used Prima stamps, stencils, papers and few other bits and bobs, Ranger inks, Tim Holtz hunny comb die and that is all.

I would also like to enter this page into Berry71Bleu challenge which is all about hand made flowers for April.

Hope you like my page.

Thank you so much for your visit and any comments.

14 Years Ago - Once Upon a Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone,

One quick post today; I managed to complete April Challenge for Once Upon A Sketch .
Journalling  criteria is: "An event that changed my life..." and the awesome sketch is:

So my event was a birth of my first daughter and I chose a photo from her 14th Birthday (the recent) and gave a title to the layout:"14 Years of Happiness",

There is my page:

Once again, I am using Prima 'Hello Pastel' papers, stickers and some other Prima embellishments and trim. The stamps behind the photos are by Tim Holtz and Hero Arts, burlap is by Papermania - Do Crafts and number 14 is die cut from groungeboard using Tim Holtz die, splattered paint is also by Ranger, Chipboard- diecuts are by some Polish company, not sure of name and coloured them with Fiber-Castell Gelatos .

The layout turned out very tick, there is a close-up:

Thank you very much for your visit and any comments.
