Simple Pleasures

Hi all

I have one page to share with you today that is inspired by 2 challenges; Firstly Nadia from Once Upon A Sketch provided awesome sketch:

 And her journaling theme this time is 'Anything goes'.

Secondly, I was inspired by this moodboard from Berry71bleu which is for moths of May about 'Simple Pleasures'

And my page is:

The photo is a selfie of me and my husband at one very hot day in our back garden. Proper hot days in Ireland are very rare and even if we have odd one it wouldn't be for weekend, so this simple pleasure for us was like a luxury and has to be remembered. The journaling in the corner is about that moment.

Papers: 7 Dot Studio, stamps, bling, flowers, mechanicals, bling, canvas and mists all by Prima, archival and distress inks by Ranger, washi  tape by Queen and Co.

Celbr8 - Scrap Around The World Challenge

Hello all lovely people




I made a page for the Scrap Around The World May challenge long time ago, however due to various reasons I could not get around to post it earlier. Anyway, there are still few days left to play along and you can find all details here.  It is their epic anniversary, so one more reason to play. Challenge is to create a page or a canvas using this moodboard:

And this is my take:

 

Obviously I was inspired by the celebration feel and the blue colour from the mood board
