I have one page to share with you today that is inspired by 2 challenges; Firstly Nadia from Once Upon A Sketch provided awesome sketch:
And her journaling theme this time is 'Anything goes'.
Secondly, I was inspired by this moodboard from Berry71bleu which is for moths of May about 'Simple Pleasures'
And my page is:
The photo is a selfie of me and my husband at one very hot
day in our back garden. Proper hot days in Ireland are very rare and even if we
have odd one it wouldn't be for weekend, so this simple pleasure for us was
like a luxury and has to be remembered. The journaling in the corner is about that moment.
Materials used:
Papers: 7 Dot Studio, stamps, bling, flowers, mechanicals,
bling, canvas and mists all by Prima, archival and distress inks by Ranger, washi tape by Queen and Co.
Thant would be all for today, thank you for your
visit and any comments.
Your layout is simply beautiful! I love the soft colors! Thank you for playing along with us at Berry71Bleu!

ReplyDeleteI had a giggle at your story. I have spent a lot of time in Ireland. My brother lives in Kilkenny and my uncle lives in Mitchellstown so I try and see them every year. I have yet to experience a hot day there. My brother tells me when you get a good one it is a good one. :) I love that selfie it is a really nice one :) I also really love your layout and the movement you have created down the page. The colours are perfect for an Irish summers day I think and I love the layering. Fave for me. Thanks for playing along with us at OUAS this month :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Val, I giggled at your comment too, by ‘hot’ in Ireland we mean sunny and temperature about 16C or more, I don’t think you would consider 16 C as hot day, LOL.
DeleteThat is a nice photo of you and your husband. It's so sweet. I also like the strong vertical feel of your page--great interpretation of the sketch. Altogether well done!
